D.K. Shepard is seeking representation for a fantasy novel suited for both young adults and readers who’ve grown up but still crave adventures to new worlds. After a journey takes an unexpected turn, two unlikely companions discover that to protect what matters most they will need quick wits, determination, and just a bit of magic.

Before earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Louisville, Shepard completed undergraduate studies at Sewanee: The University of the South, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Psychology and Economics, a minor in Education, and a Creative Writing Certificate.
